Basketball doubleheader with Lincoln Memorial shifted to Monday

BREVARD, N.C. - Due to wintry weather and dangerously low temperatures forecasted for the overnight hours, tonight's basketball doubleheader with Lincoln Memorial has been postponed and rescheduled for Monday, February 23.

The women's game will tip off at 4:30 p.m. with the men's game slated to tip at 7:10 p.m. The men's game, which will feature the Tornados against the nation's No. 5 team in the 23-1 Railsplitters, will be televised locally on WMYA My40 through a partnership with Ingles Markets.

Today's forecast calls for snow over much of the travel region between Harrogate, Tennessee and Brevard, and temperatures across the region are expected to plunge below zero overnight, making travel conditions too hazardous for the Railsplitters. Monday's forecast, however, is much more favorable for team travel.
