With Centenary up 26-21, Southwestern went on an 8-0 run to take the lead back. Brandon Alexander completed a three-point play before Joel Martinez hit a traditional three. Alexander finished the run with a jumper.

Martinez led a quintet of Pirates that reached double-digits with 16. Alexander added 12.

A layup by Prince and a split from the line tied the game with 2:48 left before half. However, Kyle Howard made a three and hit a pair of free throws right before the intermission as Southwestern led by five at the half.

Southwestern led by as much as 12 in the second half in the 11-point win.

Centenary finishes the regular season Sunday afternoon, February 17, at Texas Lutheran at 2 p.m. A win will most likely give Centenary a three seed, a loss the fourth seed. Regardless of seeding, Centenary will most likely play either Trinity or Dallas.
