Gents Golf Improves 11 Strokes for Round Two, Finishes Ninth at Abilene Intercollegiate

ABILENE, Texas – The Gents Golf team improved 11 strokes from round one to round two, shooting 310 (+26) to finish with a 631 (+63) total to finish ninth after the second and final day of the Abilene Intercollegiate on Tuesday, October 23.

Southwestern (574, +7) won the tournament, finishing two strokes ahead of McMurray and six better than Texas Lutheran.

Junior Reed Balcerowicz improved eight strokes after firing a 73 (+2), finishing tied for 28th with a 154 (+12). Junior Brodey Warner tied Balcerowicz, firing a 78 (+7) in round two. Sophomore Harrison John improved six strokes to record a round of 77 (+6), finishing with a total of 160 (+18) and tied for 42nd.

Junior Taylor Wells placed 46th with a 163 (+21) total. Senior Henry Llorence III dropped five strokes in round two and finished with a 175 (+33) total to take 51st.
