Hayes Improves 13 strokes on Second Day, Jumps Up Four Spots for Ladies Golf
TYLER, Texas – Freshman Abigail Hayes carded an 83 (+11) in the second round, a 13-stroke improvement from day one, to jump up four places to finish tied for 15th at the Al & Nancy Jones Jr. Memorial at the Cascades Golf Club Monday and Tuesday, September 24-25.
TYLER, Texas – Freshman Abigail Hayes carded an 83 (+11) in the second round, a 13-stroke improvement from day one, to jump up four places to finish tied for 15th at the Al & Nancy Jones Jr. Memorial at the Cascades Golf Club Monday and Tuesday, September 24-25.
Hayes finished the tournament with a 179 (+35) total.
Junior Erin Rostro also improved two strokes for day two, firing rounds of 93 and 91 to finish with a 184 (+40) total.
Centenary finishes the fall season in October at the Trinity Alamo Classic in San Antonio, Texas, October 15-16.
