Men?s basketball set to host alumni game

BREVARD, N.C. - Brevard College's men's basketball head coach Lee Burgess has announced that the team will be hosting an alumni game on Oct. 3, pitting the two teams of former players against each other in a friendly contest before the season begins.

The game will take place in the auxiliary gym from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m., at which point a lunch for the alumni will take place.

Brevard is coming off of one of its most successful seasons since joining the NCCA, qualifying for the South Atlantic Conference tournament for the first time in four years and winning 10 conference matches for the second time in program history. The new season begins with an exhibition at Division I powerhouse Auburn on Oct. 30.
