Busy weekend on tap before regular season starts

SHREVEPORT, LA - Before the season officially starts next Tuesday, September 1, the Ladies soccer team takes part in an exhibition this weekend.

The women's soccer team opens up Mayo Field for a scrimmage Saturday night, August 29, at 5 p.m. against Belhaven. You can watch the interview between the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) with head coach David Orr and Maddy Alexander here.

The men's soccer team played an exhibition last weekend at LSU-Alexandria. Fans can watch the media day interview conducted by the SCAC with head coach Emmett Rutkowski and senior Michael Pullano.

The Ladies and Gents kick off the 2015-2016 competition year Tuesday. The women's soccer team takes the field at 5 p.m., followed by the men's soccer team at 7 p.m. Both teams face off against East Texas Baptist. The volleyball team takes the court in the Gold Dome at 7 p.m. against Jarvis Christian.
