Brevard, N.C. - With ongoing rain hitting western Carolina, Brevard College's men's and women's soccer teams have been forced to reschedule their upcoming home matches with Catawba.
The doubleheader, originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3 has been moved to Sunday, Oct. 4 with the women set to kick off at 2 p.m. and the men's match at 6 p.m. The venue has also been changed, as Brevard gives up its home field advantage and will take on Catawba at Mars Hill.
Saturday's soccer alumni events have also changed locations. The alumni match will now be played at the Transylvania's Ultimate Recreation Facility, also known as TURF, with the kick off still set for 10 a.m. Participating alumni are encouraged to meet outside of the Boshamer Gymnasium at 9:45 a.m. to carpool to the match.
Other athletic events this weekend are still scheduled for their regular start times.
