Hat trick lifts Dallas past menā??s soccer, 6-0

SHREVEPORT, La. - The Gents surrendered four goals in the first half, while the Crusaders added a pair in the second half as Centenary (3-13, 2-10 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference) fell to Dallas (8-7-1, 7-4-1 SCAC) 6-0 on Friday night, October 23.

Senior Michael Pullano put the first shot on goal in the game, but Dallas' Tino Gamueda (8-7-1) grabbed the save. The Crusaders countered, and Naseem Said put the ball back to the top of the box and Luke Schwarz scored the games' first goal less than two minutes in to the game. Schwarz added a penalty kick goal six minutes later.

Colten Allen scored the final two goals of the half and the first of the second half to complete the hat trick for Dallas.

The Maroon and White finished the game with 10 shots, four of which were on goal. Dallas took 18 shots and put 12 on goal.

Junior Rylan Whan (3-11) and sophomore Kaleb Behm each played a half in goal, both grabbing three saves.

Then Gents are back in action for their penultimate home game Sunday against Colorado College. Game time against the Tigers is set for 11 a.m.
